System cleaning
Power up the efficiency of your heating and safeguard your boiler
Over time your central heating system will likely suffer from a build up of black sludge; Iron Oxide or Magnatite. Black sludge arises when air, water and metal come into contact and your system starts to corrode internally. Sludge degrades the circulation efficiency of your central heating. The result is higher bills and less heat.
Sludge can also lead to the failure of critical components, such as Pumps, Plate Heat Exchangers and Diverter Valves, and badly damage your boiler. The result can be expensive repairs.

Boiler Service
S & S Heating engineers annually service hundreds of Gas boilers and central heating systems in Essex and London - be they little more than a year old or more than 25 years old.
Our customers recognise the importance of getting the best engineers to keep their boiler in tip top condition, ensuring boiler efficiency, safety and longevity. All our engineers are registered with Gas Safe, the United Kingdom's official body which protects the public against unqualified engineers and dangerous gas work.
During the service we will:
- Carry out a thorough inspection your boiler and controls to make sure they are working properly.
- Look for any corrosion and leaks in the boiler.
- Remove the boiler casing and inspect the main components, including; Combustion Fan, Heat Exchangers, Gas and Water Seals, Burners and Ignition system.
- Check the gas pressure and verify heat input.
- Test the flue to ensure it is not emitting unsafe fumes.
- Clean any components if tests indicate cleaning is required.
- Replace the casing back on the boiler and check the seals.
- Email a service maintenance check list to you for your records

We specialise in boiler installations, Boiler servicing, Underfloor heating and all domestic plumbing.
We use Worcester Bosch and Ideal Boilers and offer a 5 or 7 years warranty depending on which boiler, giving our customers peace of mind for many years to come
